Weed Whacker Motor Microphone Stands Microphone Cable Camera Lens Scissors
MECHANICS The design of this creature is simple; its body is based off a basic weed wacker motor, where four independent legs are placed on the rotating cylinder giving it free mobility. The very bottom has also been rewired for an electromagnet, giving it free range over obstacles too big to walk over, or to hang upside down from its hostile environment. It can receive information of its surrounding area by a lens built into its body; although it's eye is stationary, its 360 degree motion of the body proves versatile. Inside the body is a 10 foot retractable cable, which is the tether to a smaller free moving unit. This unit works in a similar manor to its parent body, giving it some mobility with its four legs, and having the use of a much smaller electromagnet on its base.
BACKSTORY this scavenger like creature has been found near junk piles collecting scrap metal and other various knickknacks. Like hermit crabs, they will move from cylinder to cylinder, using it as a basin for collection; moving in a clumsy and erratic pattern. What's interesting about this creature is that it has no offensive mechanism to defend itself, only a smaller tethered "arm" which launches from the tip of the body latching onto things and retrieving it back to the parent. They seem indifferent to everything around it, its hard to even imagine it has any intelligence at all; however one tends to question their motives, are they collecting these items for themselves? or are they building something the world has never seen?
Awesome job nate
